Are primary languages on your school agenda?

I had a very interesting meeting last week with a director of an alliance of schools to discuss the teaching of languages in primary schools. He had noticed that although languages were being taught in his group of primary schools, but it just wasn’t top of their agenda. This is totally understandable considering the huge amount of pressure that primary school teachers are under to deliver the ever changing curriculum.

The teaching of primary languages are invaluable to promote understanding and empathy towards other cultures and promoting British values.

I have decided to do a survey and ask teachers what they need to help to help them to deliver primary MFL. Do you need more Spanish resources in your school?
